Villa Junot: the history of an exceptional place, sold for the second time by Maison Junot

Paris, 18th — Located on Avenue Junot, in the heart of Montmartre, this characterful 1920s villa was built for the composer André Mauprey. Since then, it has endured through the ages with the same understated elegance that is the neighborhood's signature.

In 2014, Martine Kuperfis, founder of Maison Junot, oversaw the first sale of this residence to an entrepreneur passionate about Parisian architecture. Nine years later, in 2023, the property was once again entrusted to the Junot Montmartre agency, which handled the sale to brothers Thibaud Elzière and Robin Michel, founders of Iconic House, a hotel with a unique concept.

This double sale illustrates Junot's role: revealing the most unique, exceptional properties and supporting their development. through the years, with loyalty and high standards.

From a private mansion to a hotel house

In 2025, Villa Junot will become Iconic House's first Parisian address.

Their ambition: to reinvent the art of hosting by creating fully private homes, halfway between the intimacy of a villa and the standards of the finest hotels.
Entrusted to the CLAVES studio, the renovation subtly blends Art Deco elegance and surrealist imagination — a nod to the artists who shaped the legend of Montmartre.

Iconic House also invites a new generation of designers to create unique pieces: a cosmic fresco by Maldo Nollimerg, stained glass windows created by Atelier Toporkoff, furniture by Garance Vallée, a sculptural fireplace designed by Southway Studio... Deliberate artistic references, decor (ironwork, stained glass, etc.), and measured lighting.

The Villa Junot covers 710 m² private spaces: a rooftop with a view of Paris, a tree-lined garden, a wellness area, a screening room, the kitchen of a resident chef.

A discreet house manager, with experience from the finest Parisian palaces, attends to the smallest detail to offer everyone the feeling of being at home – with the comfort of a five-star hotel.

Without betraying the original character of the residence, the premises have been redesigned to embody a new idea of luxury: one where design, service, history, and comfort come together to create a unique experience.

A story of transmission

"This sale perfectly illustrates our mission: to support exceptional places at every stage of their life," explains Anne Kuperfis, artistic director of Junot. "It's a rare privilege to see an address we know intimately reborn with such precision."

Maison Junot thus pursues its vocation: to champion real estate with character, tailor-made, discreet, and human, with the desire to always reveal the uniqueness of each property.
